How do I put some grey hair and wrinkles on my avatar ?

I'm 45 and I can't seem to make an avatar that represents me. Nobody seems to put up a photo except me. I know that I am not the only person over 25 here. Why does everyone want to seem the same? Am I missing the point?

I have wondered same thing, only about weight or something like that... not really a helpful answer but I can't seem to find one that absolutely represents me either! Maybe SOME one will change it?
