What should I do, let my hair grow grey or keep dyeing it with roots forever showing?

If you are a girl, dye it unless you just don't care. Guys don't usually have to worry, unless they are 25 and under and showing grey.

if your still kinda young i'd say to dye it,but middle age people get gray hair so let nature run it's course

If you have brown hair, use a product called Sun-in with lemon. That will give it a blondish glow. And, you can use a 50-50% peroxide/water and spray on after shampoo, while hair is wet. This will gradually lighten the hair, so when the grey starts coming in, it won't be as noticeable. Other color hair, I'd let it alone. Gray hair can be very attractive, of course with the right hair style. There is nothing worse than seeing someone who dyes their hair and roots that always need touching up. Gray is inevitable so be natural.

how about having high or low lights to blend the colour of your hair and let it look natural without having to dye it just one colour?

Wise up. Let everything hang out and stay natural. Who cares if your hair is grey, black or red or anyother color. And if you have a big wart on your nose - let it be, it's onle natural. Don't get in a tizzy.

keep it the same colour as you do now but add highlights, it makes the grey less noticeable in between colouring. It really depends on how you feel about being completely grey if you want to grow it out. Some people feel they look to old with grey hair others love it and never bother with colouring it. It a matter of what you want in the end.

If you're young I would dye it. However don't try to dye it the same color you had before it turned grey. Always go at least a shade or two lighter because as your hair grays, so does your skin and if you dye it a dark color you can really run into the problem of looking like a corpse. Plus if you dye it a lighter color the roots won't show as much. Some people can actually get highlights and leave the grey to look like a secondary highlight color. Good luck.

Dye it, but Skyeblue is right, it is best to lighten it. I have been grey for years but no one knows. I have it a very light brown with blonde high lites. It needs the roots touching up every 5 weeks, but it is never noticeable.

Grey is natural and not a colour to be ashamed of! It will only take a while until you get used to it....but if you start to dye it, you have to keep doing it always. Is not worth the time and money!!

By your user name, I am guessing you are female....

So, I really think it depends on how old you are.

If you are 65 or less.... I say color it! You might as well look young to feel young! **If you are 65 or over.... it's inevitable that is should turn Grey. That's just nature's way of turning you into a "sexy senior citizen"

........Grey on men however, looks great on men of almost any age.....

Just look at Taylor Hicks :)

All of the answers I've read are very good. I started frosting my hair in my twenties......At that time I almost had black hair, but had always wanted blond. Soon there was so much blond frosting, that I just went totally blond...I did go red ounce, but that fades to quickly...(LOL). Anyway, I think the answer really lies in you. I am 54, divorced, and still continue to believe I am an attractive woman. My hair is at least 75% grey. This will probably make some people mad, but because I am single, and still looking to date, I will always continue to have my hair colored once every 5-6 weeks. Grey on men makes them look distinquished, but on women, I think it just makes them look older. It depends on you sweetie, and if you have to ask.....I would say, keep coloring.

dye your hair. Use home semi permanant dyes so it wont ruin your hair or cost more than 鎷?
