Does dying grey hairs cause more grey hairs?

I'm a 20 year old male and I do have quite a few grey hairs.

If I dye my hair using a product such as 'Just For Men' will that cause more grey hairs to grow out in the long run?

Does dying grey hairs cause more grey hairs?

No, it won't have anything to do with it. You will continue to get more grays whether or not you dye your hair, or anything else for that matter. The lucky thing for you....grays on a man are very distinguishing. But if it bothers you, dye it. Either way you'll look great!

no

no.

Biologically speaking, that wouldn't make sense. But if you're dying your hair at 20, you're probably going to keep getting more gray hair, not as a result of dying it, but genetics.

No; it won't. But eventually, the hair dye will grow out. So, if you do dye it now, you'll continually have to. So, my best suggestion would be to go to a beautician and ask her about a product that would stay in the longsest.

I started dying my hair at 26...dyed it for 45 years...don't have as many grey hairs as others my age...Am almost 75 now and still have some colour mixed in with the grey...

Don't think dying will cause more grey hairs...and will make you look younger...

Does dying grey hairs cause more grey hairs?

no, it doesn't cause more to grow, only time and genetics will do that. it does make the new growth more noticeable

you should maybe try redkens line for me called "color camo" it camoflauges the grey and doesn't leave a line of demarkation
