yes should be, its because you put ash on grey hair, thats why its gone grey...you need to put the warmth back in by using warm tones, like honey or strawberry blondes. mostly though, dont panic, all hair colour is fixable so just condition well and try it again tonight! xxx

Ash colourants have no red in them that is why it looks this way. Use a wash in coularant shampoo such as honey blonde which will brighten it up

Yes you can dye your hair tonight but it is very damaging on your hair I would wait at least a week or more. If you wash you hair with dish soap it will help to strip out the color. YOu may need to do this a few tims but it will help out a lot!

I think you will be OK... You might call your local beautician, maybe they can shed some light. You may also ask the beauty counseltant @ the store.

Good Luck

Call the toll free number provided on the box. Last month I erred in an application and not only did they suggest a product to correct it, they also sent me a $10.00 gift certificate to spend on my next application. Good luck!

Ash has a lot of grey and green tint in it. I have seen it turn peoples hair grey mine personally it turns green. I have better luck with Clairol brands and I always use the golden lines. I have dyed my hair for a long time and no matter what shade I use Loreal turns it some other crazy color. You can dye it right away but it is going to dry it out pretty bad. I would say use a tinter they have out now which just brings your color back to life if you have really thin hair and try a golden blonde of that. If you have really thick hair that could afford a trim afterwards then go ahead and dye it just do some major conditioning to it after that.

|AVOID ASH whatever you do... ASH of ANY SORT will ALWAYS look grey. Nice'n'easy is good and 103b is a lovely soft blond. 104 is nice but a bit more reddy blonde. 103 has the ash so avoid that. I can honestly recommend 103b. I know what you are saying about Ash because it is not only grey in tone but it can make someone look quite ill...try the nice'n'easy and let us know the outcome..Good Luck

Well ashes are made for people who have reddish pigments to dull the red. If your wanting to do this yourself first call Loreal to get a refund. If your hair is extremely dry then your going to have to buy something more gentle like a color wash. As for your desired color also depends on your natural shade if you want to go to a blond shade then I would go to Sally's beauty supply and buy a bleach and a toner this way the bleach dulls the gray and the toner makes you not look a straw like color. I hope I could help!

I would go to the hairdressers and get some expert advice, about shades that suit me and possible outcomes.

You tend to never get the same results twice.

Well, chances are that your hair color prior to dying it already had a lot of "ash" tones in it. This is not a bad thing but you have to keep in mind, when dying your hair if this is the case, you should get colors that have gold tones to them. This will keep your hair from turning the grey color you are talking about. Think about trying the Light Golden Blonde instead of Ash Blonde. Golden colors add more yellows to them as opposed to Ash colors that have more green to them (which are good corrective colors) It is only good to use ash colors if you have naturally goldish or reddish tones to your hair OR you dyed your hair and it turned an orangy color and you want to tone it down and make it look more natural.

Another thing is, be aware that dying your hair dries out your hair and can do damage to it. Therefore, the safest time to dye your hair would be in about two weeks (hair dressers will tell you this also). This is your safest time but you can really do it at any time. Just keep in mind, if your hair starts breaking off easily or it is very dry and damaged looking, you should wait a while to re-color it.
