How do I get color which was supposed to be temporary out of my grey hair without affecting my brown

I'm afraid there is no way of doing it,you can use a color stripper but its going to strip anything it touches so it will be difficult to just strip out the roots, you will just have to grow it out I'm afraid........good luck
